Billing Specialist
Responsible for evaluating information to determine eligibility for discount plans (Reduced Fee).  Verifies income and family size based on an application submitted by the client and enters this data into a computer.  Sends clients renewal notices on a monthly basis.  The ideal candidate for this position will have strong math skills.  This position requires the ability to determine monthly and annual incomes based on 1 or more pay stubs or tax forms.  Basic Accounts Receivable skills are preferred.  Billing experience and bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.  This position is part time at 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.  Send resume to

HYN Eligibility Specialist
Evaluates eligibility for Healthy York Network and Medical Assistance programs; and provides referral information to meet clients’ social services needs.  This position will involve working with Healthy York Network contacts within the network.  While the position will exist within the Social Services Department, this job requires working closely with the Billing Department.  The ideal candidate will have billing experience and familiarity with community resources.  Bilingual (Spanish) is required.  Submit a resume to Jenni Black, HR Director.

Referral Specialist
Responsible for scheduling diagnostic testing and specialty visits, and providing referrals and prior authorizations required by various insurance vendors.  The ideal candidate will have Medical Assistant training or referral experience.  Bilingual (Spanish) is required.  Contact Jenni Black, HR Director.

HIM Specialist
Responsibilities include patient registration; appointment scheduling; pulling and filing charts, attaching laboratory reports, and answering telephones.  Excellent customer service skills required.  Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Health Records Specialist
Responsibilities to include leading and coordinating the daily chart room functions of retrieval, tracking and filing of medical records, attaching clinical reports, scheduling appointments, verification of insurance eligibility and maintaining patient charts.  Minimum of 1 year of medical office experience required; previous supervisory experience preferred.  Send resume to

Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters for medical patients during the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday- Friday.  Volunteers are asked to commit to at least 3 hour blocks of time per volunteer day.  Volunteer days can be schedule once a month, bi-weekly or weekly. Volunteers will greet patients, provide direction, assist with the punch clock, monitor the waiting room and take complaints.  If you would be interested in volunteering please e-mail
