Why should I sign my child up for this program?
Your child can receive the recommended 2 dental visits per year during their school day. You will not need to attend the appointment and a take-home report will be sent to you after the visit notifying you of what was done and if there are any issues present.
We typically visit 3 times per year as outlined below:
- 1st visit: Exam, x-rays, cleaning and fluoride varnish
- 2nd visit: Hands on brushing and flossing instruction; sealant placement when applicable
- 3rd visit: 6 month exam, cleaning, and fluoride
After receiving care from our Mobile School Dentist Program, your child will have a dental home with Family First Health. This means that if additional care is needed beyond preventative care, you can bring your child for care in one of our offices. Your child’s dental record from the mobile school dentist visit is accessible in all our dental offices.
