Tara Brockmeyer, PHDHP

Tara Brockmeyer, PHDHP, joined Family First Health in 2024.

 

Tara is a Registered Dental Hygienist, She received her degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology for Dental Hygiene. Tara has been in the dental field for over 20 years.

Miranda Kline, BS, RDH, PHDHP

Miranda Kline joined Family First Health in 2025
Miranda Kline, RDH, PHDHP, is a dedicated dental hygienist who graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) with an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene and holds an anesthesia license. She furthered her education at Penn College, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health.
Miranda’s passion for dentistry stems from her commitment to helping patients achieve optimal oral health. She brings a compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered approach to every appointment, ensuring each person receives the highest level of care.
Fun Fact:
Miranda enjoys most things outdoor from hiking, kayaking and gardening.

Elizabeth Adwa

Elizabeth Adwa, joined Family First Health in 2025

Elizabeth completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Delaware. he has experience working in an early psychosis program in Delaware, where she has been able to support individuals during some of the most pivotal moments of their mental health journeys.

Fun fact:

Elizabeth loves to create different things and travel with her family. She hopes to one day visit every continent of the word.

Tanya Barr, CRNP

Tanya Barr, CRNP joined Family First Health in 2011.

She received her bachelor in Science of Nursing from Ohio University and her Masters in Science of Nursing from Wilkes University. She finished her Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP.

 

 

Where did you go to school and what did you study? I received my RN from Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences. I received my bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing from Ohio University. I received my Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing from Wilkes University. I received my NP certification through AANP.
Where have you practice previously?  I have nursing experience in the emergency department, Intensive Care Unit, and in Peri-operative.
Why did you choose this profession? I chose to be an CRNP because I find medicine and human biology fascinating. I love to be around people and help them reach their goals.
What are your hobbies? For fun, I spend time with my 3 kids, family, and friends. I enjoy being outside and experiencing new adventures.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work? My favorite thing to do outside of work is spend time watching my children play and watching my oldest on his horse.
What can a patient expect when they see you as a provider? A patient can expect to smile. They can expect to make joint decisions. They can expect to be heard and to be valued.
Why did you choose to work at Family First Health? I chose FFH because it feels like home. I started my medical career here, as a medical assistant, in 2011.I continued my education and I went on to become a nurse so that I could come back to FFH as a provider and contribute to the mission. I love what family first has to offer its patients and the community. I am proud to be part of it.

Ashley Alston, PA-C

Ashley Alston, PA-C joined Family First Health in 2024.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Movement Science from Delaware State University and her Masters of Health Sciences in Health Science, Physician Assistant Program from University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Ashley is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is a National Health Service Corp Scholar.

Get to know Ashley Alston, PA-C:

Where did you go to school, and what did you study? I attended Delaware State University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Movement Science. I then completed my Physician Assistant degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Why did you want to become a Physician Assistant? My passion for medicine, innate curiosity to learn, and desire to help others led me to become a PA. A key goal in my career is to address social determinants of health and work toward reducing healthcare disparities, while striving to provide patients with high-quality, collaborative, and compassionate care.

What are your hobbies? I enjoy spending time with family and friends, catching up on tv shows, and making homemade cosmetics.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work? My favorite thing to do outside of work is to spend quality time with my loved ones.

What can a patient expect when they see you as a provider? Patients can expect a warm smile, a compassionate approach, and a collaborative effort focused on improving their health outcomes.

Why did you choose to work at Family First Health? Family First Health’s commitment to compassionate care and reducing barriers for underserved communities aligns with my values. I’m also excited about the opportunity for teamwork and inter-professional collaboration to improve patient outcomes.

Adenike Adisa, MD

Dr. Adenike Adisa joined Family First Health in October 2024. She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ghana School of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Dr. Adisa is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.

Stacie Gill, DPM

Stacie Gill, DPM, joined Family First Health in 2024.

Dr. Gill attended Arcadia University and received her degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.

Why did you want to become podiatrist? I wanted to become a podiatrist because I like how it combines conservative and surgical treatment to help people with foot problems to feel better.

What can a patient expect when they see you as a provider? What I hope to provide to patients is a caring practitioner, who takes time to listen to their foot problems and concerns. I hope that, together, we can find a treatment plan that will help them feel better.

Why I choose to work at Family First Health? I chose to work at Family First because of the environment of teamwork among the different specialties.

Favorite thing to do outside of work? I enjoy gardening and cooking in my spare time. My favorite thing to do outside of work is spending time with my family and friends.

Dana Linn-Toomey, DPM joined Family First Health in 2024.

Dr. Linn-Toomey attended the University of Miami and received her undergraduate degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Barry University School of Podiatry.

Where have you practiced previously? I previously practiced at Premier Ankle and Foot Specialist for 11 years and Beech Tree Podiatry for 7 years

Why did you want to become podiatrist? I became a podiatrist because people come in in pain and leave feeling better.

What can a patient expect when they see you as a provider? When patients come to see me, they can expect a provider who will take time to listen to their concerns and provide all treatment options, both conservative and surgical and together come up with the best treatment plan for the patient.

Why I choose to work at Family First Health? I chose to work at Family First Health to provide York County with better access to foot care and promote proper foot health.

Favorite thing to do outside of work? I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I favorite pastime is watching my girls play soccer and my son play baseball.
