Amanda Shappell, LPC joined Family First Health in 2023. Mrs. Shappell received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. She received her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mrs. Shappell completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision at Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Michelle Pham, DMD joined Family First Health in 2023. Dr. Pham received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

Dr. Fernandes rejoined Family First Health in 2022. Dr. Fernandes earned her BA in Philosophy from Rutgers University, her Associates Degree in Nursing from Elgin Community College, her Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Widener University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from West Chester University.

Alicia joined Family First Health in 2022.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from York College of Pennsylvania and her Masters of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from Lock Haven University.

Elizabeth “Liz” Leen, LCSW, joined Family First Health in July 2021. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work from Shippensburg University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in human development. Liz is also the program manager for the behavioral health department at Family First Health.

 

Helen Madea, LCSW joined Family First Health in 2021. Helen received her Bachelors in Social Work from Messiah College and her Masters in Social Work from Millersville University.

Anna Deraco, PA-C joined Family First Health in 2020.

Anna received her Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her Master of Arts in Theology & Ethics from Duke University. Anna received her Bachelor of Science in the Physician Assistant Program from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

Anna was born and raised in Lebanon and is honored to serve her hometown community. She leads Walk With a Doc Lebanon, PA – a monthly group walk through Union Canal Tunnel Park.

Family First Health began offering optometry services at our George Street Center in early 2021.

Gregg Peters, OD joined Family First Health in late 2020.

Dr. Peters received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Gettysburg College. He received his Bachelor of Science in Optometry and Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Peters is a member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the South Central Pennsylvania Optometric Association.

 

Ciara Rundle, PA-C joined Family First Health in 2020.

Ciara received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, Minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lock Haven University.
